Protections for Relators
The False Claims Act prohibits an employer from harassing or retaliating against an employee for attempting to uncover or report fraud against the federal government. If the employer does retaliate, the relator may be awarded “all relief necessary to make the employee whole,” including reinstatement, two times the amount of lost pay, litigation costs, and attorney fees.
If you have been harassed or fired because of your whistleblower actions, you are entitled under federal law to protection. Contact Avram Blair & Associates to determine what your rights are under the False Claims Act.
